		<description>I'm grinning here and remembering the day my son and I discovered the grass snake weaving its way through the chain link fence. Now, I did know it was not venomous, but other than boa constrictors (Yeah, I'm weird), I'd never cared much for anything of the serpent family. Being the good homeschool mother, though, I determined to show great interest and discuss with him the wonderful way it was able to travel.

I did really well, imo, until he asked if he could pet it. LOL!

(But I...er...did recently wear a large constrictor..or was it a python?... for a while when I was in Playa del Carmen. Honestly, she was beautiful and I wish I'd had more time to spend with her. Yes, I know I'm strange.)
